According to the Public Relations Department of JISCO, Managing Director of Jahed Investment Company, Mr. Behzad Ahmadi announced that the second shipment of 25,000 tons of Indian basmati rice arrived in Bandar Abbas.

He added the consignment will be clear from customs after obtaining the licenses of the Food and Drug Organization, the Health Organization and Institute of Standards and Industrial Research.

Mr. Ahmadi emphasized: "As it was mentioned previously, the Indian rice purchased by Jahed Company is of high quality and this product will soon be available to the public throughout the country.”

The CEO of JISCO added:” the supply of basic goods needed by the market, including rice, is one of the main activities of our company; therefore, many efforts have been made to supply high-quality products to the market at reasonable prices.

The first cargo of 20,000 tons of JISCO Indian rice has been cleared from customs and is being distributed in the Iranian market.
