According to the Public Relations Department of JISCO, Managing Director of Jahed Investment Company Mr. Behzad Ahmadi said that 500 tons of frozen Lamb meat will be imported from Mongolia based on a contract signed with Mongolian Mach Market Company.
Referring to other contracts of JISCO, including with Brazil, Mr. Ahmadi emphasized that since the supply of basic goods in the Iranian market is one of the important goals of Jahed Investment Company, we are trying to import the meat needed by the country from different countries, to prevent any disruption in the meat supply chain in the market.
He added that the recent contract is in the stage of getting a veterinary license and after obtaining the necessary licenses; the cargo will be imported and distributed to the nationwide.
