The CEO of Jahed Investment Company said it is expected to develop trade-agricultural cooperation with Turkish companies in the field of supplying agricultural machinery and importing grains.
According to the public relations department of the Jahed Investment and Service Co, Dr. Vahid Salehi, CEO of Jahed Investment Company, met and discussed with one of the largest agricultural machinery manufacturing companies in Turkey on the sidelines of the recent visit of the Ministry of Jihad and Agriculture’s trade delegation to Ankara about importing agricultural equipment and machinery.
Regarding the recent visit of the Ministry of Jihad and Agriculture’s trade delegation along with the directors of Jihad and Independence Institute and its subsidiaries, Dr. Salehi said that the aims of the mission were to develop cooperation in the agricultural sector, consult with Turkish economic activists, and also create new paths to develop further cooperation between the two countries in the field of agriculture.
He continued that preliminary negotiations were held with one of the leading companies in the field of agricultural machinery production in Turkey, which will also have a prominent presence at the Agro Show Istanbul exhibition, and the parties are scheduled to discuss the details of it soon.
Referring to talks with several leading companies exporting legumes from Turkey and Eurasia, Dr. Salehi noted that importing lentils, chickpeas, and red beans from Turkey is our first step on this path, and related contracts will be signed soon.
