In line with the realization of the motto "Farm to Fork", the first branch of the “Jahed Bazar” chain store was opened in Tehran.

According to the public relations department of the Jahed Investment and Service Co, During the opening ceremony of this store, Iran Agriculture minister, Dr Gholamreza Nori emphasized on the necessity of developing a network of stores supplying basic goods, eliminating intermediaries in favor of farmers and consumers, and also serious participation of the private sector in this area.

While appreciating the efforts of Dr. Masoud Namazi, CEO of the Jihad Esteghlal Institute and its subsidiaries, Dr. Nouri expressed hope for opening of the branches in all districts of Tehran and all over the country.

While acknowledging that the price gap between agricultural products from production and packaging to the consumer is very big, the Minister of Agricultural Jihad emphasized that one of our key goals is to reduce this gap.

Dr. Nouri also emphasized the priority of the private sector's role in achieving a fair cycle from farm to fork.

It is worth noting that protein products, including fresh and frozen meat produced domestically and imported from Subsidiary Companies of Jihad Esteghlal Institute are sold in this store at the price approved by the market regulation.

Also The Indian rice imported by Jahed Investment Company is also available to the public on the shelves of this store.

“Jahed Bazaar” is open daily from 8 am to 22 pm.
